At the start of the 20th century, corsets faded away and born was the first bra in 1913. More comfortable than the corset, women took to bra quickly. Now the look was flat bust and straight hips. But by the 70s the trend was to wear less and show more and lead to exotic lingerie like G-string/ thongs.
